Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered. We provide child care (ages 6 months–2 years old), our STARS program (ages 3–5 years), and BLAST (6–10 years.) Your kids will have a blast learning about Jesus in a safe environment!
Of course, children of all ages are welcome in our kid-friendly worship services as well. Just stop by the Welcome Table and our volunteers will help you and your kids find an activity bag and a comfortable space to sit.
ROOTED IN CHRIST,
REACHING OUT IN LOVE

Children's programs meet Sundays at 10 am:
Child care is always available during church for ages 6 months to 2 years. Stop by the Welcome Table in Trinity Court. Our volunteers will greet you, help you find where to go and get your kids checked in.
Kids are (always!) welcome in worship. They can sit together with their families or check out the "praygrounds" in the sanctuary — spaces designed specifically for kids!
All staff and volunteers are Safe Church trained. Learn more more about our Safe Church program.
Here's one of our praygrounds:
On Sunday mornings (including Easter) students in grades 6–12 worship with their families in the sanctuary.
Sunday evenings, students and parents are invited at 5 pm for dinner and activities, followed by breakout groups for 6-7th graders, 9-12th graders and parents. Jump over to the Youth Ministry page for more information about our vibrant programs.

Sundays at 10 am we worship in the traditional style, with organ music, hymns, and a choir. Communion is served once a month, and everyone is invited to participate. Child care and children's programs are available for ages 6 months – 10 years. Of course, children are always welcome in worship — we have activity bags prepared and special "praygrounds" where kids can engage in age-appropriate activities during worship.
2nd and 4th Sundays at 5 pm is dinner and the Modern Worship Collective.
Join us for Evensong: Contemplative Worship on the 3rd Wednesday at 7 pm.
People wear everything from casual to “Sunday best.” Come in whatever makes you most comfortable.
You’ll notice everyone wearing nametags. It’s so much easier meeting new people when everyone can greet each other by name! Stop by our Welcome Table and pick up a nametag for yourself.
Communion is served on the first Sunday of the month, during the 10 am service, and also during Evensong (3rd Wednesdays at 7 pm) and frequently during Modern Worship Collective (2nd & 4th Sundays at 5 pm). Everyone is welcome and invited to take communion.
God calls us to be fully open and affirming of LGBTQ+ persons. We embrace diversity in race, sexuality, gender, class, immigration status, ability, and age. You are a beloved child of God, full stop!
We seek to be a community that welcomes and affirms all. In that spirit, on May 21, 2020, the session (governing body) of Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church moved, seconded, and approved the following statement:
Following the risen Christ, and seeking to make our church a true community of hospitality, Sunnyvale Presbyterian Church works for the full participation of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) people in the life, ministry and witness of our church and society.
As a congregation we are doing the work of listening and learning so that we can fully live into this affirming statement.
We invite everyone to help us build a more-inclusive and welcoming community by wearing pronoun pins or stickers. Though most people are cisgender (having a gender identity which matches the sex they were assigned at birth), many people experience gender differently in a way that is not obvious from their appearance or name. Just as it's polite to call someone by their preferred name, it is polite to refer to them by their preferred pronouns. Wearing pronoun buttons/stickers makes everyone’s pronouns explicit and helps to normalize asking and talking about pronouns, as opposed to assuming or guessing.
Learn more about why pronouns are important.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU
